Solving Problems Since 2001
Who We Are
You know how the saying goes: “If you want something done right, do it yourself.” We couldn’t agree more. That’s why we started manufacturing heat sealers in 2001. No one in the market was offering a solution that could adequately seal heavy-duty, multi-layer barrier material. Impulse sealers did not produce a seal that was strong enough. Rotary sealers struggled in corners and on gussets. We even tested a jaw-type sealer from Germany, but the seal pattern was unacceptable, and replacement parts were impossible to find.
Our prototype sealers were put to the test packaging the forward section of a C-130 Hercules aircraft – over 600 feet of seals and no failures! We started production in 2002. Jensen’s next sealer, the JSS-500, has rapidly become our best, most reliable sealer and has already sold more in three years than the original sold in 15 years.
We have manufactured and sold hundreds of sealers primarily through word of mouth and referrals. When you need high-performance, reliable sealing products, there’s Jensen.

What They Have To Say
In my business we convert flexible packaging materials into a wide range of protective packaging products. I have for nearly twenty years been using the JSS-500 hand held heat sealer (and its predecessor the HS331) in various operations that we perform. I find them exceptionally well suited for use both within our manufacturing plant as well as in the field. You can’t beat the JSS-500 when installing cover systems in the field, whether making long linear seals or doing the difficult inside corners that occur in mufti-faceted covers. The sealers are also great for closing smaller pouches and bags. I still use the first one I bought 20 years ago — it’s indestructible.
- Bill Smith, Heritage Packaging
“We purchased our first Jensen Sure Seal™ heat sealer, the original HS-331 model in June 2008. Later we switched to the newer model JSS-500 which has several advantages over the original. As of this date we have acquired 9 in total of the Jensen Sure Seal™ hand held sealers. Our use of these sealers are non-stop 24/7 and gets rather intense at times and occasionally repairs are needed, but overall we find them very robust and reliable.
- Gary Bolton, Noltex LLC
“We acquired our first Jensen Sure Seal™ Hand held heat sealer, the original HS-331 model in January 2007. We have since added four more including three of the new JSS-500 model. Most of our work is on the job site and the sealers are used constantly under all conditions. We find these sealers to be the best jaw type sealers we have used and plan to keep them in our inventory. Made in the USA is an added benefit.”
